Perugia, Printmaking and New Experiences with Coffee

This past week as been spent traveling to Perugia, Deruda, and working on our printmaking class. Here are some shots that have come of it all. (Deruda is still to come).

The bus stop to Perugia. More or less should be called the bus post, there's not much to signify a stop apart from that.

After ordering what he thought was a caffe Americano, we discovered that caffe was straight shot of espresso and no dilution. Same kick as coffee just concentrated.

Night Shots from Sardegna

Here are some of the night shots we got from the beach in Sardegna. It was quite difficult to get all of the aspects in line due to limited lighting but it was an experience and quite fun to work with.

Florence and Corciano HDR

While in Florence and up on the duomo I was able to get some shots to do a few HDR pieces.
Yet again it is another area that I haven't really worked in so I am still feeling my way through how I would like to edit the HDR shots. Enjoy!

Time Lapse from the Summer

Here is a time lapse that I took this summer and just now got around to editing it and putting it together. It is my first time doing time lapse and there are already things that I know what to change for my next try. It was a good experience and fun, I look forward to more to come.

Favorite Colors Arise in Life

Yet again in my free time I have found some photos that didn't get posted. In these photos I have found that my favorite colors are very present throughout. We are drawn to that which we love...

More from Italia...

After revisiting photos I have found many that were not posted but are still totally worth a view.
Many of these photos are from around the Umbria area be it the chocolate festival in Corciano or the days in Assisi. Enjoy!

The tracks that lead to the lake and Roma and beyond.

Table of Silence in Assisi and vacation in Porta Paglia, Sardegna

Rosella Vasta's 'Table of Silence' was performed in Assisi the week before we all headed out on vacation. I was able to get some shots. Lighting was pretty dark so I resorted to high ISO... not my favorite thing to do ever, but you have to do what you have to do :)

Vacation in Sardegna, Italy brought McDonald's back into our lives. The cups had some great symbols for throwing away garbage.

The next shots are views from our beach. It was as if we had a private beach the entire week because most of the locals were on vacation as well, and not hanging out on the beach.

On our three mile walk into town we past many great sites, beautiful local foliage and tree pods.

Our dinner made with fresh home grown tomatoes and basil from the kind lady in town who had a vegetable stand. There was nothing better than these fresh veggies!

Washed up boat, it may not be there anymore due to a big storm that came through the last day we were in town.

Grilled Hobo packets dinner, it was so good.
