Final Photos For Travel Photography

These are the photos chosen as the top shots from my travels in Italy and Europe. It is always a difficult task going through the many photos and finding those which are 'the best' or that meet the requirements for a class. But I feel I have chosen wisely.
All photos were taken with my Canon 5D mark ii and all photos were taken without flash.
Enjoy...

Work With HDR

Here are a few shots that I have worked out in HDR. They didn't turn out all the way I wanted, but I can tell that HDR is going to be a medium that takes a little time to get used to. I do enjoy how the subjects that move between images still show up slightly ghosted.

Rocky Promo Video

I had some free time before we left the villa so I put together a video for the potential students to watch and see what the villa life was like. Here's what I came up with:

Thanksgiving Italia

Here are a few shots of Thanksgiving dinner in Italy. It was a wonderful time full of great food and a giant turkey!

Art Field Trips: Deruda and Cociano

This past week we had a couple of art outings to local towns. Deruda is a city in Italy that has been producing pottery in the mijolica style since the 1200's. It was a great experience to go and see how it's all done and get some shots of the people, process, and products. There are also some shots of our walk up to Corciano for another art outing.

Chilly day in Deruda brought the group closer together.
