Extreme Nature Photography

Greg du Toit a film photographer has an interesting story for photographers. He had an idea about what shot he wanted and he understood what he had to do. The shot he wanted to get was a lion drinking from the water. It seems simple enough, but Greg decided to set up his placement in the middle of the water hole so he could get the right angle. 
It was interesting reading the stories and seeing what Greg went through to get his shot. He eventually got the shot that he wanted but it took much persistence and patience. 
Reading his story makes me contemplate what kind of shots I would like to get. I enjoy travel photography and taking pictures of experiences. But I am not sure that I have shots that I would be willing to catch diseases for. I think my goal will be to contemplate various shots that I would like and pick out the ones that I would be willing to wait in a watering hole for.
